This is a place where you can just lay down on the dock and take a swim. It’s a 5 min walk from the apartment. There is also a cafe called KRUX where you can sit and get beers and pizza slices.

Kardas is a really nice bakery which sells both sourdough bread and Turkish specialties. I especially recommend their börek. You do have to be early for the sourdough because it sells out quite fast, they have a different specialty everyday.

This is a butcher and green grocer, our favourite place to get our fresh vegetables, and much cheaper than Albert Heijn. The staff is really nice and helpful. I would recommend going here for groceries.

This is the one and only Uyghur restaurant in town. Really special food. A mix between Chinese sechuan cuisine and eastern Arabian cuisine. Don't expect a finedining restaurant, it's pretty basic. Highly recommended though!
