Our favorite restaurant in Glasgow! They’ve reduced their hours due to COVID but so worth making a reservation if you get the chance.

Lock 27 is a lovely warm little pub along the Forth & Clyde canal that is accessible across the street from our flat. An excellent place to have a chilled out afternoon drink or snack with friends, with fun pub quizzes once a week!

Consistently excellent food, vibe, atmosphere, and haggis if you want it (the vegan haggis, neeps and tatties are my favorite)

We love this place--especially when we walk or cycle to it along the canal! There are grey herons and swans to spot along the way, and when we get there, it's always beautiful, even in winter--but especially in Spring and Summer when the flowers are in full bloom.

This is an award-winning spot that’s fun for solo travelers, couples, and families, with opportunities to get hands on with interactive displays (climbing aboard old trains, trams, buses, putting out fires with interactive fire engines). Definitely recommend.
