Transportation

A vehicle or a bicycle are good ways to get around in the Pikes Peak region. There are also Ubers and taxis.

Water

The Pikes Peak region is a semi-arid region and many love its dry climate. Drink alot of water! And drink it from the tap--it's safe and delicious.

6,500

This Broadmoor apartment sits at exactly 6,500 feet. The altitude is high, the sun is strong and the weather changes fast. There are trails all over the area...take advantage! You're pretty safe to head out in the morning. Most storms come in mid-afternoon if they're going to come at all. Dress in layers. A thick, heavy coat is not advisable.

Shoes

This is a no-shoe household. Please leave your footwear at the door. Your feet with thank you and so will I! You can enjoy the sunny patios and lounging space. Don't be alarmed when you see families of turkeys, white tail bunnies, herds of deer and numerous wild birds.
