10-15 minute walk from accommodation. Slightly hidden from the main town centre, you can find a independent brew house. Try the beers and ciders, made/sourced by the welcoming owners. Events available too (I. E. Open mic night).

Nantwich hosts a Farmers Markets (every last Saturday of the month, in the main square), a Jazz Festival (Easter Bank Holiday weekend) and a Food/Drink festival (August Bank Holiday weekend). Nantwich has lots of independent (and familiar) shops which may make for an interesting day out, as well as a selection of restaurants, cafés and pubs. Nantwich is great if you like history, too. This includes the Secret Bunker and the Nantwich Museum. The Battle of Nantwich is also reenacted on/around 25th January, too.

5 minute drive/30 minute walk from accommodation. Victorian style Park, with bandstands and boating lake. This is a local favourite, especially on a warm day. Use this space how you please - for walking, jogging, picnics, feeding the birds. There are boats to hires, a children's play area and also a cafe. If you are ever in the area on a Saturday (and an early riser..!), you may be interested in joining the local Parkrun, which starts at 9am. Free parking.

Perfect for leisurely strolls, off road biking and jogs (hosts a Saturday 9am Parkrun every week). Be mindful that this space is shared with dog owners and horse riders. Brilliant opportunity for spotting British Wildlife, especially on the protected lake.

1 hour+ drive, a feasible day trip. Variety of walks depending on ability. Kinder Scout will take you to the highest point of the Peaks. Easier/flat walks include Monsal trail. Also towns /villages if you prefer not to walk, with restaurants, cafés and shops available. This includes Buxton (famous for its water) and Bakewell (don't forget to treat yourself to a Bakewell tart..!)
