Great place for families with small children. There are indoor exhibits as well as small and easy, mostly level nature trails. This is also a great place to pick up an Adventure Pass, which is necessary to park I certain nature and park areas. Active duty military families may obtain a pass for free. They also offer free passes for 4th grade children on occasion, so don't be afraid to ask. The staff are super friendly.

This is an amazing trail but does have some steep areas and may not be suitable for very small children.
