Santee offers several excellent golf courses as well as the gateway to Santee State Park.

Nexton is the newest community of Summerville SC and is just less than 40 minutes away - excellent restaurants and shopping add to the allure of the greater Summerville area - which features bigger city shopping options, theaters, restaurants and its own historic downtown area. Summerville is also known as the Flowertown and each spring hosts the Flowertown Festival with a large contingent of good music, festival food and trucks, and plenty of crafts and antiques for sale. A very pretty All American town.
