Lamoine State Park is situated on Frenchman Bay, large body of water along the western shoreline of the Schoodic Peninsula. THe bay was named in honor of the famous French Explorer Samuel de Champlain who first sailed in and charted this area for France in early September of 1604.

Site Guidelines
- There is no electricity at your Tentrr site
- No running water at this site but a 5-gallon water jug is provided
- Anything you pack in, you must pack out - this is "leave no trace" camping
- All trash MUST be deposited in a designated receptacle at the end of your stay - If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee
- Wildlife and plants are for viewing only
