Walk/run or cycle part of the famous 60 mile Caledonian Canal, starting at Muirtown basin in Inverness and ending at Dochgarroch locks for a bite to eat at An Talla. If you’re not up for the approx 2hr walk, you can see the point where the canal joins the Beauly Firth by walking round Clachnaharry Point. Approx walking time 30 mins. Watch out for dolphins!

Around a 40 min drive from the house to the starting car park, Ben Wyvis summits at 1046m. Walking time approx 4.5-5.5 hours. Please only climb this if you have experience in the Scottish Mountains.
