Unique park in the Boise foothills. Has awesome trails for walking and running, as well as trails for mountain biking, going up and down the foothills. The park also features a large playground area, sand volleyball pits, and a huge open grass area.
Definitely a local favorite!

This park sits directly across the river from Boise State University (and its famous Blue Turf field) and contains the Boise Zoo as well as a number of museums: Boise Art Museum, Idaho State Museum, Idaho Black History Museum, and the Discover Center (children's museum).
There's also a large pond where you can rent paddle-boats and paddle around the park.
This one is a must-see!
