Fun local hike with a GREAT view of the valley! You can hike up from the base of it, or drive most of the way up on the back side. Find a giant, illuminated cross at the top as well as a great photo-opp!

Walking/biking/running path that runs along the beautiful Boise River all the way across the entire Treasure Valley. Most parts of the Greenbelt are paved, and will take you through a number awesome parks, Boise State University, the Boise Zoo, Anne Frank Memorial, great dining options, and more. For Boise locals, this is one of the most prized features of the area!

Ever tried surfing? How about in a RIVER? Boise's got it! Go try it out at Boise's White Water Park - even if you don't try it yourself, it's a good time watching the surfers go at it

A classic Boise park, hugging the banks of the Boise River. This park sits directly across the river from Boise State University (and its famous Blue Turf field) and contains the Boise Zoo as well as a number of museums: Boise Art Museum, Idaho State Museum, Idaho Black History Museum, and the Discover Center (children's museum). There's also a large pond where you can rent paddle-boats and paddle around the park. This one is a must-see!
