For a true locals place venture out to the Loading Chute in Creston. The owner Dave and his staff offer up steaks, seafood, pasta, pizzas, and more. We've always had a delicious meal there. Be sure to save room for the massive mud pie or grasshopper pie for the dessert.

Tin City is a great place to experience a lot without driving a lot. There are tons of boutique wineries, a brewery, and a cider house. There are plenty of food options as well with restaurants and food trucks.

Both are owned by a long-time Parkfield family. If you're lucky you may be there during a rodeo event! Or, if you're really luck you could be there for an earthquake! Parkfield is the Earthquake Capitol of the World.
