A whopping 6 min (or 2.7 miles) away from Hacienda la Colina, Devargas Center offers a wealth of wonderful local stores and eateries including Market Street Grocery store, Sprouts Farmers Market, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, Bowling Alley and a number of other stores. Eateries include Panda Express, Santa Fe Bar and Grill, Sabor Peruano, Atrisco Cafe and Bar, Paradise Boba Tea, Baskin Robbins, Crackin Crab, Seafood Boil and Jinja Bar and Bistro.

The plaza, or town square, was originally, and is still, the center gathering place in town. Many know it as "the heart of Santa Fe." Here you can find Native Artisans selling their creations, a standing tradition for The Plaza.

Giving yourself time to get to your attractions is advised.

The streets of Downtown Santa Fe can be tight and confusing since they are laid on old wagon trails but they are slow paced and beautiful!

Some Common Santa Fe phrases you'll hear.

"red or Green?"- When Dining at a restaurant you may be asked this, it is referring to red chile or green chile, a New Mexican delicacy. Arroyo-There are large arroyos running through the city that can become flash flood zones during a rain storm, it is best to stay out of the main arroyos but they can provide for a spectacular show to watch from above.

The Santa Fe Farmers Market is a must see!

The Farmers Market is located downtown at the Santa Fe Railyard. It is one of the oldest, largest and most successful operating farmers markets in the nation supporting over 150 farmers and producers from across New Mexico. Operating all year long on Saturdays from 8am-1pm and Tuesdays from 8am-1pm May 3rd-Nov 22nd.
