A unique 'haunt' that is believed to be the oldest building in Savannah. It has really cool history and good food. I recommend going for lunch to keep costs down and still get a good sized portion of food.

Flat shoes & a rain coat / umbrella
As much as you want to wear stilettos to go out, wear at least wedges if you plan to go downtown. The cobblestone streets are hard enough to navigate in flat shoes while sober.
Expect rain every day. Locals say plan as if it won't rain, prep as if it will, and just expect to get wet. The weather can swing pretty rapidly so it's not worth canceling plans over, but it's also best to be prepared.

Most restaurants that take reservations book a week in advance during the busy season. Also, most tours will either book out or be more expensive to purchase in person.

Pedestrian privileges
Locals typically come to a complete stop while driving if it appears you might cross the road. Additionally, not many locals (and some tourists) look before crossing the street.
