The Best Mediterranean food in Long Beach (and one of the best in all Southern California!).
They make their own Pita Bread and its like nothing you have had before especially when you try it with the Spicy Hummus.
Give yourself time as they take their time preparing your meal.
So much to choose from you will have many reasons to come back.

Recommend the kouign amann a cappuccino (for dunking). Outdoor seating available.
Can get busy though so if you want to just grab a loaf (try the country levain) get there early or prepare for a few minutes wait.

The bread is so good! Colossus is doing good things, baking bread fresh with real ingredients...and btw they're 100% woman-owned.

Also since it's a popular spot (so maybe not so much a hidden gem anymore) reservations are recommended...and parking can be difficult.
