Historical, picturesque town on the road to Orange; check out all the lovely shops including Dolce (great sweet shop), 3 Cellar Doors - Angullong, Tambourlaine, Sloe Wines, and the fabulous Tonic Restaurant. Pubs and clubs in town too - The Millthorpe Hotel - great ford and busy friendly vibe, The Millthorpe Club at the Bowling Club, and the historical Grand Western Lodge, recently renovated beautiful accommodation!

Great facilities - beautiful local walks, indoor swimming pool and gym, tennis courts, sports grounds, skate park and playgrounds, great coffee and food at The Ironbark Cafe, Hang Sing Chinese Restaurant, Tony's Cafe the Royal Hotel and The Exchange Hotel, and don't forget to get some supplies from the Akehurst Bakery and Blayney Butchers. Must make a visit to Bernardi's - the best grocery store where you can buy just about anything! Lovely Botanicals store, and lots of other gems to explore. The Platform Art Gallery at the Blayney Railway station is a must.
