Wetlands, Marshes and the River Lea
People don’t classically see London as green and full of nature but it is. We’re very lucky to Walthamstow wetlands a 15 mins walk down copper mill lane. Soak in tranquil waters on a little walk and end up either cute cafe The Larder at Walthamstow wetlands or get a pint at ferry boat in and enjoy their big pub garden. Alternatively if you like a longer walk go passed the wetlands to the canal (river Lea) and walk along that few miles taking in the Walthamstow/hackney marshes. Meet the cows! Yes London city cows roam around here.
