Our favorite local breweries
We love to visit local breweries. In fact, you'll find a growler in our Airbnb cabinets just in case you want to bring something back to the house on your visit. There are certainly more, but these are a few of our favorites.
Remedy's taproom in the 8th and Railroad building is one of our go-to locations for a night out. They have a beautiful back patio that is the ideal setting to listen to live music. Definitely take advantage of their kitchen and try the sours.

Fernson Downtown is in a historic building on the south edge of the downtown area on Phillips Avenue. They have a solid changing menu of seasonal brews and serve food. In 2020 they added igloos, which allows them to offer year-round patio seating. They really never disappoint.

Obscure Brewing is a great hidden little gem. Their brewers are creative and the vibe is relaxed at their taproom. Watch to see if the kitchen is open--if it is you're lucky, as their food menu is almost as good as their beer.

It's usually busy enough on weekends and evenings that you'll want to start your tab at the bar rather than wait for a server to come to your table. They have a solid menu that includes some creative pizza options if you're looking to eat.
