Cline Falls is just a few miles East of Redmond.
Turn left off the highway to the day use area for picnicking and river access. There are zero entry points with no current that makes it great for young kids, there are also deeper swimming holes if you want to cool off.
If you park on the right side of the highway along the guard rail across from the day use turnoff you can hike down behind the guard rail and upstream along the river to see the beautiful falls!

Smith Rock is a world renown State Park known for rock-climbing. There are also some beautiful hikes for all skill levels. You'll definitely want good shoes! There is a $5 parking fee for the day use area.
