Be Kind To Locals
This goes without saying, but it's always a good reminder to be kind to the locals and respect local highway speeds.

Bring warm clothes
It gets cold in the winter months so pack plenty of warm clothes. Lots of cozy blankets are provided at your cabin, of course, but you will feel the cold while you are out enjoying the snow.

Plan for the Busy season
Big Bear is the only 4 season resort in Southern California and with that comes the busy season which usually runs from November-March. While the cabin is only a short 12 minute drive to the Village and a 10 minute drive to Snow Summit, be aware that once the roads get slippery and more tourist are in town everyone moves a little slower so be patient and plan ahead to avoid frustration.
