Voted one of the top beaches in Australia, Flaherty's beach is stunning and family friendly with warm shallows and long expanses of pristine sand and turquoise water. Take a picnic and stay the day. 4WD access to the beach, or most cars are able to drive onto the sand at Hardwicke bay. Explore the rock pools and bird life.
Pack a picnic or grab some hot chips from the Location Cafe in Edithburgh and enjoy exploring the tidal pool! Great for younger kids to swim (the tidal pool is only 9-110cm deep), and older kids can snorkel between the tidal pool and pontoon!
