Helena's south hills are covered with hiking/mountain biking trails. The main trailhead is just south of downtown off of Park Avenue up Reeder's Village. Several trailheads are within five minutes of downtown including Tubbs (on Grand Cannon Blvd) and at the south end of Beattie Street.
