Boats for hire, picnic, barbeques both sides of the river plus a cafe. Further down the river is a romantic white wooden bridge across to the other side which turning left, goes to other picnic areas.

A small community in the bush, with access from road or by ferry from Cronulla. This would make a great day out: train from Waterfall to Cronulla, then ferry from near the train station.
