Welcome to Reffen - a vibrant oasis by the water, where street food enthusiasts, container romantics, music lovers and everyone else meet to enjoy exciting food, different cultures and good atmosphere.
The reef came to life on a dusty and neglected industrial site in the harbor surrounded by dilapidated workshops and warehouses. Today we are the largest street food market in Northern Europe and a cultural melting pot with tons of concerts and events during the season.
We love Copenhagen, colors and meeting people from all corners of the world, and we want to give everyone who visits Reffen an experience out of the ordinary.

Parks & Nature
Buresø is the cleanest lake in Denmark and has the best beach ever. Park at Skovvej/Klokkekildevej. Remember your bathing gear and a blanket to lay on.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful gardens in Denmark - A must see.
Very nice beach resort - A hidden gem
Marbæk Strandpark is located in Frederikssund and is a delicious family beach with a blue flag. At the southern end of the beach you will find a ramp suitable for smaller boats, kayaks and winter swimming. There are public toilets at the car park. From Marbæk Strandpark there is a nice view along the fjord towards Roskilde Cathedral, the new Crown Princess Mary's bridge and Crown Prince Frederik's bridge to the north.
The beach faces west and is therefore a fantastic excursion destination for a sunset trip all year round.

Marbæk Strandpark is located in Frederikssund and is a delicious family beach with a blue flag. From Marbæk Strandpark there is a nice view along the fjord towards Roskilde Cathedral, the new Crown Princess Mary's bridge and Crown Prince Frederik's bridge to the north.

This area is original forest, many years old - Take a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings - and bring your mobile - a lot of geocaches is hidden here. Fun for the kids as well..

Frederiksborg Castle is home to the National History Museum. Through paintings, portraits, furniture and handicrafts from different style periods, the museum tells 500 years of Danish history.
On a tour through the castle's many beautiful halls, you will meet kings and queens, nobles and bourgeois, events and eras that have all helped to shape Denmark's development and history.
With changing special exhibitions of a Danish and international nature, regular Sunday tours and family activities during the school holidays, the museum puts Denmark's history in perspective and keeps the dialogue with the past alive.

The changing of the guard takes place at noon.

These are Christian VII's Palace (also known as Moltke's Palace, used as a guest residence), Frederik VIII's Palace (also known as Brockdorff's Palace, home of His Majesty King Frederik X, Her Majesty Queen Mary, and their children), Christian IX's Palace (also known as Schack's Palace, home of Queen Margrethe II) and Christian VIII's Palace (also known as Levetzau's Palace, used as a guest palace for Prince Joachim and Princess Benedikte). It's in this building you'll find Amalienborg Museum.
