the walk from the harbour to the beach is on a sunny day is one of my favourites in the area. The beach is about a mile from the car park, so it's always quiet compared to the other beaches in the area. Well worth the walk. Big sand dunes for kids (and adults!) to run around in

the cliffs here are on the list as some of the most geologically interesting places in the country. there's also a freight ship wreck below the cliffs which you can find at low tide
