Very calm water, usually families and young children because there are no real waves. There's a breakwater wall under the water so the waves don't get to the beach.
Best part is the Volleyball pits and the biking/walking pathway which runs all the way from 2nd Street beaches to downtown.

Long Beach City Beach
Very calm water, usually families and young children because there are no real waves. There's a breakwater wall under the water so the waves don't get to the beach.
Best part is the Volleyball pits and the biking/walking pathway which runs all the way from 2nd Street beaches to downtown.
Nice beach with a pier and lots of unique, small shops. Waves are nice but not super strong. Good for swimming and body surfing.
