Salzburg Mirabellgarten station
Panorama walk around the City's backyard mountain
There is also a path up the backyard mountain “Gaisberg”(about 3h) right behind the house, but I’ve never done it in winter. I will figure out if its possible but otherwise you can also take the bus 151 up the way from “Mirabellplatz” and take the “Rundwanderweg” around the Gaisberg (bus exit “Zistl-Alm”). That way you will able to get fantastic panoramic views of the whole area and countryside. It’s also very easy and takes 1,5h. Local favourite.
