Buena Vista Park is located two blocks from our house. It has some of the oldest trees in the city and feels like you are in the forest. Hiking to the top of the hill provides beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are two coyotes that live in the park. They can been seen early in the morning and then at dusk.

Lands End is amazing. It is a beautiful hike along the ocean/bay. At the end of the hike is an amazing alcove/beach. We love going there with our two young boys to have a picnic.

We love Baker Beach. It is a 20 minute drive from our house. Parking is easy to find there and it feels amazing to be on the beach looking out at the ocean and Golden Gate Bridge. We have seen dolphins, seals, and pelicans there.

The museum has recently been renovated and features some well-known artists like Diego Rivera, Frieda Kahlo, Monet, Manet, etc. It also has some amazing new exhibits where they really play with your senses. They also have an amazing coffee shop on the upper floors.

Getting Around
The station is located at Doboce Park which is three blocks away from our house. It will take you directly downtown (10 mins) and even to the AT&T Ball Park (20-30 mins). The N-Judah train comes every 5, 10 to 15 mins. You can Google Map it for the exact times that it will arrive before you leave the house.
If you miss that train, you can walk further on Duboce towards Church and you can catch the J train, which is located near the intersection between the two. It will also take you directly downtown.
