Wonderful fish monger situated in the historic Old Market Square. With Brixham fishing port only a couple of miles away you are guaranteed the finest and freshest selection of fish anywhere. Mark Lobb has run this business for over 30 yrs and is a local character.

Situated in historic Bayards Cove (where the Pilgrim Fathers set for America in the Mayflower after getting repaired in Dartmouth) Take your drinks outside and sit or stand in the cove and look across the River Dart and out to sea. On a sunny day this is the best pub 'lounge' in the World. Do great pub food especially home made curries.

Dartmoor is around 45 mins drive from Dartmouth and one of our most spectacular National Parks. If you like walking and the outdoors then try to get to Dartmoor. Excellent pubs are scattered across the stunning scenery for lunch.

It is a fantastically beautiful River. Take a trip on the last paddle Steamer in the country and the 'Kingswear Castle' was actually built in Dartmouth in 1924. It is fully restored and make a wonderful and memorable reason to see the River Dart up close.
