My favorite Japanese restaurant. Extensive and creative menu. I have it every time I'm in NYC. Best part is that they have 2 for 1 drink specials almost every night.

Farmer's Market at Union Square. I believe it's on Mon, Wed, Frr, Sat. Great local produce. You'll also find some really fun gifts, occasional live music, lots of shops around, of course restaurants.
