Tallest falls East of the Mississippi. Especially thrilling if we've had lots of rain or during spring runoff. Be careful please - people die every year by ignoring signs. There's a state fish hatchery located up Rt 56 near the headwaters which is fun to visit.

If all you know about Monticello is what you've seen on the back of a 5-cent piece than you should visit. There a lot of historic sights within an hours drive of the cottage and more than I can list here. If you are interested in hearing about more please ask.
