Just around the headland to the north of the lighthouse look down and you'll see seals on a secluded beach. The only place you're guaranteed to see these extremely cute creatures in the area.

Amazing food, reasonably priced. In the week lunch is £5, with a meat and a veggie option (you eat on big tables like at Wagamamas). It's located at Wheal Kitty Workshops where there's a great vibe with surfboard shapers, the charity Surfer's Against Sewage, a cafe and the HQ of Finisterre, the surf brand.

An awesome spot for an apres-surf pint and maybe some food too. Watch the sun go down and drink in the balmy atmosphere :)
