MYVATN LAKE (1 hour drive) One of the most beautiful place in Iceland - will probably be little crowded. There you can go to mini-Blue Lagoon, JARÐBÖÐIN, cozy and small, more nature than the Blue Lagoon.
Check out waterfalls, GOÐAFOSS (30 min drive) or DETTIFOSS (further east)
Island like HRISEY (easy assess) or GRIMSEY (further), are beautiful and peaceful
Town like SIGLUFJÖRDUR, DALVIK, OLAFSFJORÐUR.
Best place for whale watching is my old hometown HUSAVIK - there you can also visit the island FLATEY Skjálfanda. (ask for the price before you buy)
