From our home you can walk in under 1 hour to the Huka Falls, a beautiful walk where you find the hot springs on your way (or your way back).

From our home you can walk in under 1 hour to the Huka Falls, a beautiful walk where you find the hot springs on your way (or your way back).
The rapids don't seem much when they first start, but then the water starts filling the valley... Gorgeous! The scene in the 'Hobbit' where they are floating in wine barrels was filmed here.
From here (we might be able to drop you off) it is a 2 hour walk (10km) back to the home. Via the Huka Falls and the natural hotspring... Take a sandwich and a drink (beer), slap on sunscreen and you have an amazing trip! Good for all ages, buggies not too great though on the track.
