Highly renowned on TripAdvisor and beyond. An excellent variety of breakfast and lunch options. It's not the cheapest, but the portion sizes and quality are excellent. There are also a few nice vegan options.

Classical French restaurant and wine bar. Good for a glass of fizz and a charcuterie platters or a full 3 course meal.
Two notable items are:
1. Cote de Boeuf (1.2kg rib roast carved at your table for 2 to share but sometimes requires you to call ahead and reserve one)
2. The most important thing to consider is (in my humble opinion) the unparalleled quality of the Creme Brulee. Guaranteed dessert envy

It's hidden downstairs through a set of doors disguised as a bookshelf and opens into a speak-easy style cocktail bar with a great array of interesting cocktails. The mojito is the most original take on the drink I've ever tried and the birdcage is a smoked cocktail that is both delicious and a bit of a fun spectacle.

There is an excellent view of the castle from the west end of the park where tourists often stop and have their pictures taken with the castle in the background.
