In our opinions, Martin is the only experimental chef in Saas-Fee. Food and service is always exceptional. Our recommendation for best on the menu is 'Fillet Steak “Rossini” with foie gras and Cognac-Truffle sauce'.

Weather Changes Quick in the Mountains
Our advise is to layer up! Checking the weather forecast in advance to your holiday is great however, at such altitude the weather can be unpredictable and changes from day to day. Therefore, we suggest bringing many layers as in summer; in direct sunshine it can be very hot but as soon as the clouds cover you will be thinking it's winter already!

Car Free Village
Saas-Fee is a car free village therefore, all vehicles must be left at the village entrance car-park. The village is walk-able from top to bottom however, if you arrive with lots of luggage and would like to book an electro taxi we recommend Taxi Bolero - Rates vary between 25-35 CHF.
