In 2022 Kennys Gelato – was crowned Swedish ice cream master at the national ice cream championships. The flavors at his parlor vary from timeless classics (vanilla, chocolate, pistachio) to creative combinations (rhubarb and cardamom, lemon, and ginger sherbert). My absolute favourite is pistachio. You can also find Kennys Gelato close to Nacka Forum and In Sickla köpkvarter.

In the center of Hellasgården’s nature reserve. Here you can start your hike, rent a mountain bike, a kayak or a sup in the summer or skis and ice skates in the winter. You can go swimming or have a winter bath. There is a sauna, an outdoor gym, mini golf, boule etc. Check out webpage Hellasgarden. You can get here by bus (30-40 min from Krönet incl one bus change) or by car (17 min).

Thick, knotty pines with centuries of growth bear witness to the passage of time. Barren flat rocks that ice sheets and waves have worn smooth, at a time when the area was still an archipelago. All beautifully framed by towering spruce trees that keep watch over mosses and lichens. The forest cover is interrupted by glittering lakes, and in the air is the scent of bog myrtle and marsh Labrador tea. Tyresta National Park is the largest area of ancient forest in the southern part of Sweden. The park is surrounded by Tyresta Nature Reserve, and together they contain 12,355 acres (5,000 hectares) with 55 km of walking trails. Read more on the website Tyresta.

1,1 km walk from our place. Several buses from Slussen stop here as well as the night buses. Perfect if you want to take a short walk. We recommend taking the stairs or the slope down the small forest instead of passing Krönet.

5 km from our house you reach the commuter boats. You can go by bus to Nacka Forum and then walk 1,5 km to Nacka Strand. From here you can go by the SL- boat (same tickets as for the bus) to Gröna Lund (Allmänna gränd), Djurgården, Stockholm City, Bogesundslandet etc. There are also several nice restaurants with sea view situated in Nacka Strand. You can also play padel, mini golf or take a nice walk along the waterfront to Svindersvik and it’s cafe.
