Sightseeing
The streets of the old town are colourfully coded with painted flowerpots blooming all year round. The mural trail is spectacular my favourite being 'The Fisherman' - which is yours? Plaza del Flores in the centre of town is a beautiful place to have a drink, dine or enjoy an ice cream. Recently built Orchidarium is of architectural interest and you have the beauty of the orchids and no visit to Estepona would be complete without a visit to the pretty, traditional port.

It is possible to pop across to Tangiers on a day trip but it is a long day. The souk is well worth a visit for lamps, rugs, ornaments and of course spices. Personally I would prefer a guided trip but for the more adventurous you can go it alone!
You can book a package trip: http://www.frs.es/en/tours-to-morocco/tours-to-morocco/excursions-1-day/tangier-cultural-1-day/
or with: http://www.saidtours.com/en/

Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain’s Malaga province that’s set dramatically above a deep gorge. This gorge (El Tajo) separates the city’s circa-15th-century new town from its old town, dating to Moorish rule. Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge spanning the gorge, offers sweeping views. New town’s Plaza de Toros, a legendary 18th-century bullring, is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
