Brijuni National Park is an oasis of the magnificent harmony between man, animal and plant life. Away from the crowds you can enjoy peaceful nature.
You can reserve by telephone but you should do it at least a day in advance. Your visit includes the services of an English-speaking guide and a mini-train to take you around. The price depends on the season but note that you pay the same price whether or not you take the tour.
There are a number of daily boats back and forth between Fazana and the National Park. Nothing stops you from staying on after the tour and exploring on your own or lolling on the beach. In fact, it's highly advisable! You can easily rent a bike or a golf car to tool around. The water is unbelievably clear and the fish life is abundant. It's a great place for snorkelling.
During the summer Small Brioni island become a theatre under the stars where theatre group Ulysses every year present something very interesting. The problem for the foreigners is that the theatre is mainly in Croatian.
Rade Serbedzija, a World famous actor, is one of the main drivers of Ulysses’ group.
If you are lucky you may also assist to the World famous guitar players like Vlatko Stefanovski and Miroslav Tadic or violin player Stefan Milenkovic. It is worth to check every year at the beginning of the summer what shows will be presented on Small Brioni.
