This is one of the most touristy all you can eat places in Rio de Janeiro. It is a churrascaria (steakhouse) with a large seafood buffet selection. The walls, ceiling, and even the bathrooms are full of objects and images that need to be seen. Vintage cars hang from the walls and ceiling, as well as any other object you can image. It is very expensive and is popular among tourists, but it is a place you will remember. TIP: keep on requesting those cut that you like (for example, I only eat Filet Mignon and Lobster on my last trip there). Note: the map shows Marius Degustare in the wrong location. It is in Leme and not Copacabana.

David the owner is tremendously creative with his menu. He is was a musical director at one of the local samba schools (Acadêmicos de Rocinha). His seafood feijoada and seafood salad are award winning. I love the Bolinho de Bacalhau (codfish balls). His caipirinhas are the best in the area.
Bar do David is in the community (favela) Chapéu Mangueira. Best to go up in the daytime and if possible accompanied by a local.
