The Moriac General Store is a quaint little establishment with a café and plenty of outdoor seating. They serve wine from the local vineyards and sometimes host music events. It's a lovely 10-min walk from our house. They have meat and vegetarian options on the menu, as well as quick take-away counter service. The store sells esssentials - bread, butter, cheese, wine, limited groceries.

Parks & Nature

The Geelong Botanic Gardens are beautifully curated. They pack quite a bit of biological diversity into a small area. The large ginko tree in the Japanese Garden is astonishing! There's a small tea house in the garden - nothing impressive but a nice place to relax with a pot of tea, especially if the weather's favourable. Entry is free.
