I've been to the birthplace of pizza, Napoli, and these guys get it close. Nice pastas as well, a good Italian atmosphere. Pricing is alright even for students. A good and economic choice for a romantic date with red wine and all, especially on weekday nights, as it tends to be quite packed on weekends. Depends on what you like - calm tranquility or vivid atmosphere.

Billiards and drinks in a nice setting. Downstairs there's Andorra, a film theater with occassional screenings especially on film festivals. The whole thing is founded by the legendary film director Aki Kaurismäki. A true visionary.

Unique architecture makes this place worth a visit. If possible by your schedule, I recommend a visit here especially during an event or a performance of classical music. Spectacular acoustics.

Prepare a day trip, summertime it's great for picnic, and check out the weather forecast beforehand - it's basically outdoors and not worth a visit on a rainy day. The ferry is around 5€/per ride, 15 mins and leaves at Kauppatori frequently.

Nice area for a walk, the blocks are different to surrounding areas, there's a lot of trees and the area is in general more spacy. Seaside is near with some nice cafés and in the summertime there's great ice cream for sale in the Eiranranta.
