Because who doesn't love an artisan cheese-inspired menu? Especially one that is flush with locally raised ingredients and craft beers. I would recommend making a reservation and this is not ideal for large groups.

Because their sandwiches are some of the best and most creative in town. This is a hole-in-the-wall shop with a limited but well-crafted menu; they only do sandwiches. They have a late-night window on Fridays and Saturdays if you're out on the town and need to something to soak up some drinks.

Arts & Culture
It's free, it's got an expansive collection that spans all types of medias and time-frames, and lots of famous artists' pieces. My favorite section is the American Decorative Arts collection.

This is no ordinary library. From inside and out, it's an architectural wonder. You'll be mesmerized by the natural light that filters through the seemingly opaque marble. For a short time around the 4th of July, 2017, the Beinecke's temporary exhibits will include one of the original printings of the Declaration of Independence. Permanent exhibits include the Gutenberg Bible, the first Western book printed from movable type, and John James Audubon’s “Birds of America”.

Rudy's was relocated and revamped after 75 years of being the best dive bar in town. The new location is cleaner, has better interior design, and an expanded menu, but the fact that it is no longer a dive bar is also a disappointment to many. I don't go here for the service, the food, or the cocktails. I come here for the decent-to-good beer selection, a baseball game on the TV (note, this is NOT a sports bar and the TVs are not invasive) and the company. So this bar may not be the bar for you, but I'm recommending it for those special bar flies out there that don't want anything too fancy and enjoy other bar flies. Don't go on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights when they have karaoke/DJs.

Exceptional cocktails and the very few wines they have are always amazing. This is a cool (not dank) basement level bar that feels a little cave-like.
