Love the bowl of shrimp in broth that you add alll sorts of yummy things to. The fresh fish and octopus. Locals eat there and not pricy.

Shopping

Fun and lots to eat and see and buy. Only on Saturdays. I go there to buy fab homemade bread. Close to the beach.

City/town information

I love Guadalajara. Easier now to get there by road. Haven't been in a few years but the shopping is so much fun. Huge markets and lots of places to walk to without any cars around. Easy to fly in as well.

A favourite of mine as I love the travelling musicians. The beach vendors. The fabulous Martinis.

It is on the beach. High end but great food and drinks.

Buses running a block from the house til night fall.

Besides the buses the taxis here are every where and very affordable. $5 US to get to the beach and 10 pesos or 50 cents US for the local buses. The buses run up and down the coast and inland of course. I sometimes rent a taxi for the day to go up north with friends so we can stop along the way and swim and eat in my favourite spots. Plus you can drink and smoke as you wish.
