My favorite local coffee hang. This place was around long before coffee was a "thing." Yes, probably before you were born. There are a few branches, one on the boardwalk. Black Gold is my favorite brew. It will dissolve your spoon if you leave it in too long.

I know, it's obvious. I thought I'd put this in just in case. If you're on a budget, this could be a freebie or nearly so. You can take the bike path up from Venice, which is a pleasure in itself. Our studio includes two beach cruiser bikes, so you don't even need to rent them.

Fun and free pier visit spot on the southern end of Venice. Biking the bike bath is the best way there. You don;t even have to rent bikes - we have two loaners for your use.
