Parks & Nature
There are 7 lakes & ponds on the common, Rushmere being the prettiest and best accessed from the Windmill car park where there is a cafe. Beautiful walks amongst the trees. There are some lovely pubs on the Common including The Fox & Hounds. It is possible to walk to Wimbledon Village from the common.

Created by Charles I in 17th century, it is the largest of London's Royal Parks at 2360 acres and includes many buildings of architectural or historic interest, Royal Ballet School and 630 freely roaming Red and Fallow deer. It is possible to take a boat trip along the River Thames at Richmond. Richmond is very picturesque.
