Jerome is only about 30 miles from our place, over Mingus Mtn on a scenic winding country road. Really fun for motorcycling! Check out the Haunted Hamburger for lunch.

Follow Iron Springs road west for 15 miles to find this 100 year old little town & cemetery. There is a small store and a train museum (when it's open), but the cafe has closed. Still a fun meandering road to check out if you have a half hour to tool around. Fun motorcycle ride too!

Sedona is a bit further to get to, but a perfect day trip to visit the red rocks. Be prepared for LOTS of traffic and tourists though! Hwy 89A offers an awesome drive or motorcycle ride through Jerome, Cottonwood and then into Sedona. If you have extra time, follow the road up the canyon all the way to Flagstaff.
