A bit off the city center, but still worth a visit is this bar and bistro. In the summertime it is a great place to enjoy a cold beer, but also their food is a definite recommendation. They even offer a good lunch menu for a fair price.

Not far from the central market, the Gin Library invites you to taste a huge variety of Gin and Tonics. But even if you are not into gin, there is a lot of cocktails and booze to try.
Nice add on: you get fresh water and a few salty snacks together with your order.

Hopfen & Malz is not only a beer shop but also a good bar to try about a dozen beers from tap - and even more from bottles and cans. Probably the only place in town, where you can order using your smartphone (or call a waiter to guide you around their world of beer)

Great Irish Pub with a huge variety of Whisk(e)ys. Football matches of Bundesliga and international matches are also shown regularly. Even some locals are not aware of their nice rooftop bar - highly recommended.
