We love the hiking trail beside the creek up to the waterfall. Gorgeous views, cool air wafting up from the creek in the summer, and a fairly easy hike make it a wonderful adventure. The lake offers boat rentals, and the stock ponds are fun for kids to see fish.

Food Scene
Just across GA 76 from Barefoot Road is the winery for our neighborhood vineyard -- which is just across the "holler" from Hillside Hideaway. You can stop in for a wine tasting, a glass of wine, or a chocolate covered strawberry. Our neighbors run the place and are always up for a chat. On weekends they sometimes offer live music. The winery is open 2-5 most days. Check out their website.
