Notable places yet beware
The pier has always been a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike until it was purchased by Westgate. Seems to be many complaints online about the prices of parking to food served on the pier. Biggest complaint is not being able to go out onto the pier without being a customer. Still a great place to visit, no charge for spending a beach day next to the pier and not using their pricey parking

Brand new restaurant/bar to Cocoa Beach. We have given it a few visits to see if it grows on us. It does have live music and tends to attract visitors yet hasn't won over the locals. Since we are foodies most of my disappointment is in the lack of consistently well prepared and tasty food. Its also a very loud venue if you plan on having a lot of table conversation. Regardless it can be a fun place.
