We loved visiting the cow camp with the kids! "Florida's heritage comes alive with living history demonstrations of the early Florida cow hunters in an 1876-era cow camp." If you are interested in the cow camp- make sure you call the park to check on the schedule. It is seasonal and dates and times vary throughout the week.
There is a tower you can climb to get sweeping views of Lake Kissimmee.
Fun place for short hikes, picnics, and there is a playground.

Bok Tower Gardens was named after Edward Bok who came up with the idea of providing a retreat for people and wildlife. We have enjoyed walks through the gardens and the kids enjoyed the ice cream!
