Wegmans is a great place to shop for many reasons. They have a wide variety of fresh produce and a great selection of organic produce. They have freshly baked bread every day and a fairly decent specialty food selection for a small city. You'll find ethnic cuisine along with gluten-free, vegan, etc. They have a great sushi section and a cafe so you can eat-in or carry-out.

There is a waterfront restaurant — 1833 Kitchen and Bar that serves fantastic farm to table cuisine and feature craft cocktails as well as a stellar wine program. Less than mile from the apartment this is a breakfast hot spot. Take a left out of the driveway and a right at the second traffic light. It’s a block down on the right. There is often a wait during peak times but it goes by quickly and is worth it.
